Today's Flag Retirement ceremony is canceled due to severe weather in Chicago's forecast between 3-9PM. United States Flag code stipulates that a flag should never be flown during inclement weather, so we are considering future dates to conduct this ceremony and continue the Scouting tradition. Future date will be posted here.

An official flag retirement ceremony with take place at the end of the DuSable Pier on April 30th from 5:30 PM - 6:45 PM. We will meet at the west end of the pier just north of the Columbia Yacht Club, right in front of the Chicago Fire Boat. You can also bring your old flags to the event and we will take care of the rest.
